R. Alexander Milowski

alex@milowski.com

I'm an accomplished developer and entrepreneur who has worked in a variety of positions--from software engineering to management. Over the years I've developed advanced skills in the area of XML technologies, mathematics, algorithms, web services, and web-based UI technologies. I have been involved with XML from the very beginning.

My current projects are now centered around drawing connections between services, informatics, and big data web archives. Specifically, I am currently researching geospatial data representation and dissemination over the web. The goal is to model recommended behaviors and practices for large scientific, government, or industrial archives with a focus on ease-of-use and longevity.
