Mathematics

I received my masters degree in Mathematics 2004 from San Francisco State University and I'll soon be pursuing a PhD in Mathematics. I'm very interested in computation mathematics--specializing in combinatoric commutative algebra computations, algebraic geometry, and bioinformatics.

I had a "previous life" of 15 years in the software industry before I came back to Mathematics.

Here you will find my recent papers, my masters thesis, and some of the software I've developed.

Also listed are some of the software systems I've developed:

  • Monos - Monomial decomposition and binomial basis computations

  • jHMM - A Hidden Markov Model library & application.

  • CpGame - a CpG island detector via the Chaos Game.
